Sydney from Day Seven to Eleven.

Day Seven - Thursday March 24th, 2011

Kevin, Stephanie, Katrina and I took off to Bondi Beach.

skate park with a swimming pool and a talented skateboarder showing us some of his tricks.

Walls separating the road from Bondi beach displayed great works from graffiti artists.

stopped for fish and chips for lunch and headed off to the coast walk!

This coast walk can be as short or long as you want. Depending on what you're in the mood for. We took about 2 hours visiting all the beaches along the way. We say a creepy graveyard in the distance and eventually walked over to it. The views were continuously great along the way. Where ever you stopped and looked, you saw endless paths along the beaches through rock cliffs. We passed incredible rock beaches. There were rocks that created natural pools and also pools created by the city with ocean water. Brilliant. and Beautiful.

Our Last stop around the Bondi Beach area.
The ocean water pool with cemented structured edges for jumping in!

In the evening we went to the Rose Hotel. Our kiwi friend met up with us and we had a great time.

Day 8 - Friday March 25th, 2011
All four of us took another beach day ...
Hopped on the Ferry over to Manly Beach and walked to Pebbly Beach.
This area was great and full of cute shops on the way to the beach.

We spent most of our day at Pebbly Beach where Kevin used the snorkle gear to look at the little fish in the water.

After relaxing on the beach we headed to the Four Pine Brewery right by the Ferry Station.
We had a tasty lunch here.

FERRY RIDE BACK TO THE CITY

We soon took the Ferry back to Cicular Quay. Took the train to Central Station and back to our hotel. We showered and tried to take a break but had plans to go to china town and off we went!

CHINATOWN

Saturday February 26th 2011
This was a sad day. the day Stephanie and Katrina fly out and head home to the states. :(
We still managed to squeeze in some time in New Market where they had TONS of shops mainly independent artist's shops,l creative stores, hip little cafes and so on.

Sydney Day 4 - 5 - & - 6

Today, while Stephanie and Katrina did the famous bridge climb, I went to the famous Annie Leibovitz exhibit. I was surprised how extraordinary it was!

ANNIE LEIBOVITZ: A PHOTOGRAPHER’s LIFE 1990 – 2005

Then Kevin and I headed to the fish market in Sydney. The best oyster's I've had yet. Pretty good sushi too.

Around our Hotel....

We had to check on our car which is parked in a suburb outside the city centre. All the parking restrictions make it tough to have a car in Sydney!

...As for the evening, the four of us partook in a hilarious and interesting GHOST TOURS!

Our host was very enthusiastic and the tour showed us parts of Sydney we wouldn't have known about.

It was a walking tour that starting in Sydney's Harbour area called """The Rocks"""... We learned a lot about the history of the harbour and walked through stone alley ways
and ended up under the
Sydney bridge which gave us a great view of the Sydney opera house at night.

more great views

Tuesday February 22nd, we went back to the Sydney Harbour and off the the Sydney Opera house to actually go inside and see if we'd be interested in taking a tour.

Once we arrived and enjoyed the exterior architecture of the Opera House we went inside and discovered there were somewhat affordable shows. We booked the Ultimate Rock-n-Roll Jam session at the Playhouse in the Opera House.
Then, we just ran errands.

Wednesday February 23rd, we toured the wows-tastik Blue Mountains!

After the Blue Mountains and sight seeing we got back to our hotel to get ready for a fun night out at the Sydney Opera House!
